Private Pilot Training

The Private Pilot Certificate is for anyone who wants to fly for personal use or
satisfaction. You begin training for this certificate with instruction in the basic operations of the helicopter.

Ground training and flight training are
combined so you will be in the cockpit on day one.

Your ground training will include topics such as airport and heliport operations, radio procedures, weather and navigation, while your hands-on training will focus on your first major goal of flying the helicopter solo. You will also start to learn maneuvers
like hovering and autorotation and how to operate safely from a tower-controlled
airport.

From there you will move on to more advanced lessons such as night flying and
cross-country flying.

The final part of your private training involves sharpening the skills you have learned in preparation for the FAA’s practical
examination.

The Private Pilot Helicopter Rating is also the first step for those who intend to go on to advanced helicopter ratings or who plan to become professional helicopter pilot.

You can begin flight training today! There are NO prior requirements before you begin dual instruction in the helicopter.

You can begin at any age, but you must be 16 years old to solo and 17 to earn your
Private Pilot‘s Certificate.

Commercial Pilot Training

To fly for hire, you will need to have a Commercial Pilot Certificate.

This is the necessary second step for those who aspire to become Professional Helicopter
Pilots and/or Certificated Flight Instructors.

This training will take you beyond what you learned in the Private pilot training and provide advanced training.

You will start with ground training which includes advanced helicopter aerodynamics and the rules and regulations for operating a helicopter commercially.

The emphasis in this stage of the training is placed on
professionalism, helicopter power management, pinnacles, confined areas and using good judgment.
It is not uncommon for some students to include an Instrument Rating during
Commercial training in order to build up the number of required hours between their Private Pilot Certificate and their Commercial Pilot Certificate.
Combining the two ratings is the most cost efficient path. For this Course we created a unique training program based on the Robinson R44 Helicopter.
This unique program gives you the opportunity to build your Pilot in Command flight time and you will gain experience in  helicopters which exceeds
basic requirements for a helicopter flying career and makes you more employable.
You must hold a Private Pilot Certificate before you can advance to the
Helicopter Commercial Certificate. You can begin at any age, but you must be 18
to qualify for the Commercial Certificate.

IR Rating Certificate

An instrument rating is required to fly in the National Airspace in less than visual flight rule (VFR) conditions.

Our training is designed to give you the necessary skills to pilot your helicopter using the instruments for attitude
recognition and navigation without recognition of the actual horizon.

We begin the training with the basics. You will learn about attitude instrument flying and progress to departure, enroute navigation, approach and landing procedures.
Most all professional helicopter job positions now require an instrument rating.

We created a unique training program based on both, an advanced instrument flight training device and the Robinson R44 Helicopter which gives you
the opportunity to do your Instrument flight training, log Pilot in Command flight time while gaining the necessary experience on powered helicopters as well, but keeping the costs at a minimum. This course is also used for pilots to gain the minimum required Pilot in Command flight time to
become a Commercial Pilot with exceptional experiences.

It will allow you to fly helicopter  to fly by reference to instruments, making you more employable as pilot.

ATP H FAA

Airline Transport Pilot

The Helicopter Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating is intended for those who
intend to demonstrate the highest level of skill, professionalism, and
accomplishment in their careers. The ATP Practical Flight Test is essentially an Instrument flight test to higher standards than the Instrument Checkride.

The cost of the ATP will depend on the hours you need in a helicopter to meet the aeronautical experience requirements which are 1,200 hours total time as a pilot of which 200 hours are in helicopter, including 75 hours PIC; 500 hours cross-country flight time which must be longer than 25nm in a helicopter or 50nm in a fixed-wing; 100 hours night flight time of which 15 hours are in helicopters. The night time must be unaided (without the use of NVG); 75 hours of (simulated) instrument flight time of which 25 hours are in helicopter, and not more than 25 hours are in a simulator.

The pilot must be at least 23 years old and holds at least a Commercial Pilot License (H) and an Instrument rating (H) to meet the eligibility requirements
for an ATPL.
